Lebanon’s economic downfall aggravated with time and this had lead to lack of access to basic human rights, the right to education, education shall be equally accessible to all.
Since 19 years, His excellency Dr. Maged Georges Chahine used to donate for the educational sector and continued up until now to donate educational grants and provided financial aid for distressed families. He is also awarded as a “Global Honorary Membership” in the global council for business honoring his efforts in social responsibility and outstanding efforts in community service and economics.
The Ambassador Dr. Chahin offered purchasing vouchers to members of the General Directorate of the State Security, out of his belief in the essential role that this Directorate plays in preserving the security of the nation, and emphasizing the necessity of continuing to support this agency like other security agencies.
The Ambassador Dr. Chahin donated clothes and shoes for boarding orphan School children, along with purchasing vouchers for the educational and administrative staff for the Saint Michael Al-Muradiya in Byblos District, affiliated with the Archiocese of Jounieh.
The Ambasssador Dr. Chahin contributed to equipping and furnishing the classrooms of students of Saint Elias Darb El Sim school, affiliated with the Maronite Archdiocese of Sidon and Deir el Al Qamar , offering gifts, in addition to allocating purchasing vouchers for the administrative and educational staff.
